Cookies Policy
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
The Site uses cookies in some of its areas. Cookies are files that store information on the hard drive or browser. They allow the Site to check if the user/visitor has already visited the Site, to load any customizations, and to collect some statistical data (most visited pages, visit times, etc.). Through this data we are able to make the Site more responsive to your requests and easier to navigate. For example, cookies allow us to ensure that the information on the site during your future visits matches your preferences.
It is possible to configure the browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie has been stored. Each browser is different, therefore please consult the “help” or “guide” section of the browser you use, to understand how to change your cookie preferences. For example, in Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can disable or delete cookies by selecting “Tools/Internet Options” and changing the privacy settings or by selecting “delete cookies.” Please note, however, that the Site has been designed to use cookies and their removal may compromise the proper functioning of the Site.
The Site also makes use of cookies from external sites and/or external data providers, as indicated in the relevant sections of this policy.
This site and communications generated through the use and/or registration on this site, such as promotional emails, may contain electronic images called “clear gifs” or “web beacons.” These images generally operate in connection with cookies, and we may use them for the following purposes (non-exhaustive list):
- Count the number of Site visits;
- Check whether a user has acted through an email or via a link;
- Verify the success of a specific email campaign;
- Determine particular levels of interest in specific sections or aspects of the Site, or for specific products and services available on it;
- Estimate the results that advertisements may have on product or service sales;
- Understand how popular a product or service is and the degree of variation in interest between the Company’s particular products and services.
GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES REGARDING CONSENT TO THE USE OF COOKIES
On our site, information may be collected that may concern the user, their preferences, or the Internet access device (computer, tablet, or phone), and is mainly used to adapt the operation of the site to the user’s expectations, providing a better browsing experience and sending personalized promotional messages.
The file (cookie) stores certain information that the site can read the next time it is accessed, which may be necessary for the proper functioning of the site and to improve usability. Through cookies, for example, it is possible to determine whether a connection between the computer and the site has already been made, to automatically load texts in the user’s language, etc.
Below you can learn more about the different types of cookies used; notwithstanding the above, for our websites and other online services we use the following categories of cookies:
Types of cookies
- Technical (or essential) cookies: necessary for the proper functioning of the site, used to navigate or to provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the site owner, for example for the language in which content is displayed on the site. They are referred to in Article 122 of the Code, which states: “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the contracting party or user to provide such service” (see Art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
- Statistical (analytics) cookies: allow us to understand how visitors use the site, so we can evaluate and improve its functioning and prioritize the creation of content that better meets users’ needs. For example, analytics cookies can help us keep track of which pages are frequently visited, what the user’s preferences are, which products have already been viewed to avoid showing them again, whether the advertising displayed on the website is effective, and whether the user experiences any difficulties using the site. To analyze how websites are used, the site also uses the web analytics service “Google Analytics” provided by Google (https://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/learn/privacy.html). Instructions on how to disable Google Analytics are provided later.
- Profiling cookies (not used by taklergroup.com): allow us to deliver ads related to the user and their interests. They are also used to limit the number of times the same ad is shown and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are referred to in Article 122 of the Code, which states that “The storage of information on the terminal device of a contracting party or user or access to information already stored is only allowed if the contracting party or user has expressed consent after being informed by simplified means.” (Art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
- Third-party and social media cookies (not used by taklergroup.com): are delivered without the control of the owner, by third parties (e.g., Facebook, Google Maps, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) who may track the user during their browsing, even outside of the Data Controller’s site. These cookies, typically profiling cookies, are not directly controllable by the Data Controller, who therefore cannot guarantee how third-party owners use the collected information. Third-party cookies are not under our direct control, therefore, for more information on how third parties use cookies, please visit the third-party websites listed below, where their respective policies and cookie management options are provided:

Opting out of cookies
The Data Controller informs that Takler Srl does not use any type of cookie aimed at profiling users, but it uses third-party services that in turn employ profiling cookies. At any time, the user can refuse to accept all or some of the cookies used on this website as follows:
You can avoid certain cookies by configuring your browser settings or by directly disabling the part that manages and controls cookies. Each browser has specific configuration instructions. More information about the procedures required to disable cookies can be found on the browser provider’s website:
For detailed information on the necessary procedure, please consult the browser’s help guide. For an overview of the most common browsers, visit: www.cookiepedia.co.uk or www.aboutcookies.org
The most common browsers allow the option of blocking only third-party Cookies while accepting only those from the site itself. In addition, some companies that generate Cookies on third-party sites offer the possibility to disable and/or inhibit only their own Cookies in a simple and immediate way, even when these are anonymous or do not involve the registration of personally identifiable data such as IP addresses.
Advertising companies also allow you to opt out of receiving targeted ads if you wish. This does not prevent cookies from being set, but it stops the use and collection of some data by these companies. Any choice by the user to disable the use of profiling cookies will prevent the subsequent storage of additional cookies, while cookies previously installed on the user’s device may continue to be used on the user’s device. Fingerprinting technologies
To prevent data from being collected using fingerprinting techniques, we suggest either browsing in anonymous mode (every browser offers this option) or installing a specific plug-in, such as Privacy Badger, a browser extension that prevents advertisers and other third-party tracking software from monitoring your online activities. Please note, however, that installing this type of plug-in may affect your browsing experience.
